- Give critical feedback in a way so that the other person does not hate you

- before you embark on the journey of giving feedback, you need to educate your team what is feedback and help them understand that "feedback is a gift"
- make sure they do not have a -ve association with word "feedback"
- you need to have a trust , so that they are open to it

- Feedback is a development tool
- Express
- give it in balanced manner , +ve and -ve combined
- Equip
- after you give +ve & -ve .. you need to equip them with a way to improve on their -ve and continue +ve
- Empower
- ask them what they think about the feedback
- it is not a 1 sided relationship
- Encourage
- tone is most important (dont subconsciously blame them , give them with a tone of trust)
